Today, there wasn't really a write up, but from the pictures, it appeared that the team visited the village and took clothing, toiletries and rat control to Joseph, the man they met yesterday. His home was humble to say the least. His home is also home to a chicken, which I'm sure is more than a pet to them, but a blessing. One comment on the screen about the pictures from someone who must have been there before: "This photo brings it all back to me....the incredible poverty in Uganda. And I'm ticked because my icemaker won't work right on my refrigerator??????????? God help me." It just goes to show how incredibly blessed we are. I'm sure a mission trip makes you appreciate what you have, and makes you realize what you really don't need. Enjoy the pictures....keep them in prayer.
