A Weekend with Ken Graves

This weekend, we were privileged to have Ken Graves with us.  He was guest speaker at the Statewide Calvary Chapel Oregon Mens Conference in Corvallis.  Saturday evening and Sunday morning, we had the pleasure of hosting him, as well as the blessing to hear him teach on Sunday.

The men all came home on Saturday from the conference, pounding their chests, talking deeply, and digging through their closets for their flannel shirts.  They were filled. They were men in every sense of the word. They were on fire for the Lord Jesus Christ!

Saturday evening brought us together at Creekside for a meal and to give Ken a warm LCC welcome.  We had a chance to visit with him, love on him and to get to know him better.  It was a blessing to us.

 Sunday morning, church was flooded with flannel shirts and a group of eager folks ready to hear Ken speak.  Many women were there from other Calvary's, disappointed that the women we're able to go to the conference.  It was for men...no touchy-feely stuff, no hand holding, just Men, getting into the Word together! 
We were not disappointed today though.  We all left, remembering who's workmanship we were.  We all left knowing it was about forgiveness, and not about "feelings"....we were ALL filled.  I encourage you, if you missed the message, listen to it -- if you were there, I encourage you to listen to it again.  Follow this link, and be blessed.
