Our dear sister Joan has gone triumphantly to be with our Father. She is rejoicing in heaven with Jesus, and knows the joy we all yearn for. We will miss her dearly, but know she loves where she is.
Father, we lift our brother Roger to you, we lift their children and grandchildren to you. We pray for their peace, and we pray for your comfort upon them. We thank you for the blessing of Joan and for the blessings she bestowed on us while she was in our presence.


Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going. John 14:1-4
